TONY KART

The Racer 401, in its "T" evolution, is confirmed as the top-of-the-range chassis in the Tony Kart lineup. Available, as always, in single-speed, gearbox, and DD2 versions, it introduces several new features, born from the synergy between the OTK Kart Group's R&D department and the Tony Kart Racing Team. The fundamental characteristics of this historic model remain unchanged: the body is made entirely from 30 mm diameter tubing and a very high level of production quality.

Tony Kart Racer 401 T

WINNING DNA

The Racer 401 is the flagship of Tony Kart's successful history. Throughout its racing career, from 2004 to the present, the Prevalle brand's flagship frame has won more than 10 world titles and numerous international victories. The desire to continue this path of victories with the new "T" version has led the OTK Kart Group R&D team to introduce several new features, including new braking systems—BWD for the single-speed classes and BWZ for the shifter classes—as well as the new M11 fairings. However, to achieve extraordinary results, it is essential to work on even the smallest details. For this reason, among the new features presented, the Racer 401 T also features a new aluminum chain tensioner fixed to the bearing support. Tony Kart has also been updated aesthetically, introducing new graphics for the fairing sticker kit.

Revised look, maximum power

M11 fairing kit

The quest for ever-increasing aerodynamic efficiency has led the OTK Kart Group R&D department to develop the new M11 fairing kit, compliant with current FIA regulations. The data obtained by the OTK Kart Group R&D department through CFD computer simulations and wind tunnel testing, combined with data gathered through track testing by the Tony Kart Racing Team, have resulted in the creation of a new front wing and a new front spoiler with unique designs, ensuring a substantial reduction in aerodynamic drag, with consequent increases in track performance. Combined with the two elements called M11, we find the side fairings and rear protection of the M10 kit, introduced with the previous homologation, in addition to the fully covering floor that maximizes aerodynamic efficiency. The entire package is also decorated with stickers with a new design, more attractive, but faithful as ever to the colors and style of the Prevalle brand.

Innovation for direct transmission classes

Like its predecessor, the single-speed Racer 401 RR is also equipped with the BSD braking system. This system, designed by OTK Kart Group, is the same one fitted to the OK and OKJ world title-winning karts in 2021 and 2020. The one-piece forged rear brake caliper, equipped with a race recovery system, features two 34.5 mm diameter pistons and is combined with a two-piston brake master cylinder, as well as the brake hose with a stainless steel outer braid and PTFE inner chamber. The caliper and brake master cylinder are made of Ergal, a material noted for its excellent mechanical resistance, further enhanced by the hard oxidation process that reduces wear on moving parts.

Máximo confort en la pista

POSICIÓN DE GANADOR

La posición de conducción es fundamental para cualquier piloto y, por ello, el departamento de I+D de OTK Kart Group trabaja constantemente para implementar mejoras continuas en este aspecto, perfeccionando hasta el más mínimo detalle. En particular, con la Racer 401 RR es posible ajustar el reposapiés con mayor flexibilidad; además, se han introducido nuevos soportes para el asiento. En cambio, se mantiene el volante HGS, ya presente en la anterior 401 R, equipado con empuñaduras de goma de alto agarre y confort, que mejoran considerablemente la experiencia de conducción. El volante se combina con un cubo angulado para una posición de conducción totalmente ergonómica.
